Birthday Photoshoot

A couple weeks ago, my dear friend Joanne reached out to me about taking photos of her on her birthday. Seeing as Jojo and I met 10+ years ago on tumblr.com, I could not pass up this 2014 inspired photoshoot of my dreams. To make it happen, we set up a makeshift studio in my living room and bought the most colorful cake my local Acme had to offer. I am seriously so obsessed with these photos and am forever grateful that Joanne trusted me with her vision - check out some of my favorite shots below!
